I am a Romanian director, producer and actress who immigrated to Montréal in 2014. Since an early age I was attracted by acting and directing. I remember when I was little that I was directing and rehearsing Romanian plays with my cousins during summer holidays. In high school I passed an audition in front of a real director and I knew since then that that was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Afterwards, I obtained a scholarship in Belgium and continued my career as an actress both on stage and in movies. A few times I was told to start writing, but it's only a few years ago that I was contacted by a friend to help him write a scenario for his movie. After helping him out, I realized that I really loved writing scenarios and that I should start writing and directing my own stories. Thus, my first movie, "Across the river", my first "cinematographic baby", a short movie that was filmed near Montréal. As an artist I want to create films that speak about subjects that have an impact on this world, about social and political matters that influence people's lives.
